*students should have agency

*learning should be purposeful and made public

*curriculum should focus on going deeper and not wider

*sustainability should be at the apex of design

*global-mindedness, flexibility, and interdependence are as important as ever

*iterations need to be the norm

*education is collaboration~teachers, schools, homes, and entire communities working as one.
